Please pardon me if this is the wrong mailing list - and if there is a
better one please tell me.

CentOS 6 - 64 bit

Software Update recently offered to upgrade clamtk. The update process
gave me this error:

Resolving Dependencies
--> Running transaction check
---> Package clamtk.noarch 0:4.25-1.el6.rf will be updated
---> Package clamtk.noarch 0:4.45-1.el6.rf will be an update

--> Processing Dependency: perl(ClamTk::Device) for package:

--> Finished Dependency Resolution

Requires: perl(ClamTk::Submit)
Error: Package: clamtk-4.45-1.el6.rf.noarch (rpmforge)
Requires: perl(ClamTk::Device)
You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem

I have perl installed:

[root at taylor12 ken]# rpm -qa perl
perl-5.10.1-131.el6_4.x86_64

clamtk is a repoforge (rpmforge) package. Where do I turn for help or to
report this issue?

TIA,

Ken

I reported the same messages here on 9/29 @11:29 zulu, but haven't heard
anything back yet.
I'm also running CentOS 6.x 64-bit.

--skip-broken doesn't help, of course.
And as far as I can tell, Dag hasn't fixed the package in this list's repo.

Here's what I did to upgrade:

So, the rpm directly from ClamTk's sourceforge.net page works fine. :)

Hope that helps!

Thanks darr247. I may give that a try. In the interim update has
disappeared from the update list so I am not sure what that means. Ken
