Greetings,

The 'blobwars' i386 package has a bad MD5 checksum and is causing
problems for anything that imports RPMs and parses them for validity
(spacewalk for instance).

$ wget
http://ftp.heanet.ie/pub/freshrpms/pub/dag/redhat/el5/en/i386/dag/RPMS/blobwars-1.07-1.el5.rf.i386.rpm

$ rpm -Kv blobwars-1.07-1.el5.rf.i386.rpm
blobwars-1.07-1.el5.rf.i386.rpm:
Header V3 DSA/SHA1 Signature, key ID 6b8d79e6: NOKEY
Header SHA1 digest: OK (d84bff32816f8f504fbe2f74de751563ca3d738a)
MD5 digest: BAD Expected(d89999554a6046d7c9842d6fbe32e5a7) !=
(1a6542ee1f2e66a0c307ed2eefe83f84)
V3 DSA/SHA1 Signature, key ID 6b8d79e6: NOKEY

It would be greatly appreciated if this package could be fixed. :)

Thanks,
~reed

I just noticed that this seems to have originally been brought up two
years ago without any type of end solution. :(

http://www.mail-archive.com/users at lists.rpmforge.net/msg01231.html

I can't find the original buildlogs for that build, so not sure what
actually caused the problem. Hopefully, the package can just be rebuilt
in order to solve this. Otherwise, if a rebuild is not possible or
will take a long period of time, it would be appreciated if the broken
package could be removed from the repository for the time being.

Thanks again,
