Hi,

I was just wondering if there was an ETA on the new rpm for 0.97.6 ?

Thanks.

I can understand the confusion of this post. My system returned the
following when asked rpm -qi clamav

- -sh-4.1$ rpm -qi clamav
Name : clamav Relocations: (not relocatable)
Version : 0.97.5 Vendor: ATrpms.net
Release : 63.el6 Build Date: Mon 25 Jun
2012 09:20:43 AM EDT
Install Date: Sun 23 Sep 2012 09:10:16 PM EDT Build Host:
flocki.atrpms.net
Group : System Environment/Daemons Source RPM:
clamav-0.97.5-63.el6.src.rpm
Size : 12859879 License: GPL
Signature : DSA/SHA1, Mon 25 Jun 2012 09:21:11 AM EDT, Key ID
508ce5e666534c2b
Packager : ATrpms <http://ATrpms.net/>
URL : http://www.clamav.net/
Summary : A GPL virus scanner
Description :
Clam AntiVirus is a GPL anti-virus toolkit for UNIX. The main purpose
of this software is the integration with mail servers (attachment
scanning). The package provides a flexible and scalable multi-threaded
daemon, a command line scanner, and a tool for automatic updating via
Internet.

The programs are based on a shared library distributed with the Clam
AntiVirus package, which you can use with your own software.

Most importantly, the virus database is kept up to date .
- -sh-4.1$

I would yum update clamav and get no change or improvement. I then
yum erase clamav and yum install
http://repoforge.eecs.wsu.edu/redhat/el6/en/x86_64/rpmforge/RPMS/clamav-0.97.6-1.el6.rf.x86_64.rpm
which still gives the same information as above when you rpm -qi
clamav. So although I am fairly sure I installed 97.6 it still
responds as 97.5??
