I'm having some interface display issues since upgrading, I think one of
those patches may help. Would it be safe for me to patch against my
cacti-0.8.7g-1.el5.rf installation before these patches are added to the
rpm or would it be best to wait?

I've just commited a new SPEC, thanks for the heads up. You can wait
until Dag rebuilds it, or apply patches yourself.

(To be completely honest, I am not completely sure what RPM gonna do, I
guess as these files don't have noreplace flag they just gonna be
overwritten on next upgrade.)
