Hi,
I'm trying to install php-rrdtool from rpmforge on Centos 5 x86_64.
The latest version of php-rrdtool is php-rrdtool.x86_64
0:1.4.3-1.el5.rf, it depends on rrdtool 1.4.3. However, the latest
version of rrdtool is 1.4.4.

Any chance of getting php-rrdtool up to 1.4.4?

Thanks in advance for the help!

The latest version of php-rrdtool is php-rrdtool.x86_64

Hi Lode,

I do wonder if that is really necessary. It's quite possible
php-rrdtool-1.4.3 is compatible with rrdtool-1.4.4. Could you simply test
by force installing php-rrdtool-1.4.3 and see if it works correctly ?

I already performed a new rebuild, but would prefer to get rid of the
dependency altogether.

Thanks in advance,

nodeps installing 1.4.3 seems to work. I do now encounter what's
described in RH Bugzilla #437558, but that problem doesn't seem
build-related. I'll see if I can check if the patches that fixed this
bug in EPEL (which builds an older version) work against your rpms as
well.
