Hello,

I just tried to install the package for trac 0.12 (trac-0.12-2.el5.rf.noarch.rpm) found on rpmforge (via the rpmforge repository), and I've got some problems with it, the trac environment couldn't find some files and folders, in particular the "locale" folder (/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/trac/locale doesn't exists).

I looked into the trac.spec file (<http://svn.rpmforge.net/svn/trunk/rpms/trac/trac.spec>) and it seems to be OK, when I try to download the file http://ftp.edgewall.com/pub/trac/Trac-0.12.tar.gz (that seems to be specified as source in the trac.spec), the locale folder is present in the trac subfolder.

After trying to execute a manual build from the source provided by edgewall, (using the same command used int the trac.spec file - %{__python} setup.py install --single-version-externally-managed --optimize="1" --root="%{buildroot}", then using a more simple command - %{__python} ./setup.py install --root="%{buildroot}"), the locale folder is not created either.

I'm a bit new to the 0.12 version, so I probably missed something.

Does anyone here can help me ?

Sincerely,
Florian

I think this should be brought up at the Trac support facility...
