Hi Steve,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I can see that I didn't
make things clear in my original message, the
'gstreamer-plugins-bad-free-extras' package (ver. 0.10.19-2.el6) comes
from the rhel-x86_64-server-optional-6 repository.

What I was attempting to highlight is that there is a way that a
conflict will occur between a package from the Red Hat repo and the
standard RPMforge repo.

To avoid the conflict, I removed
'gstreamer-plugins-bad-free-extras-0.10.19-2.el6.x86_64' and let
'gstreamer-plugins-bad-0.10.19-3.el6.rf.x86_64' take precedence.

Here follows the '-bad-free-extras' info:

[quote]
Name : gstreamer-plugins-bad-free-extras
Arch : x86_64
Version : 0.10.19
Release : 2.el6
Size : 21 k
Repo : rhel-x86_64-server-optional-6
Summary : Extra GStreamer "bad" plugins (less often used "bad" plugins)
License : LGPLv2+ and LGPLv2
Description: GStreamer is a streaming media framework, based on graphs
of elements which
: operate on media data.
:
: gstreamer-plugins-bad contains plug-ins that aren't
: tested well enough, or the code is not of good enough quality.
:
: This package (gstreamer-plugins-bad-free-extras) contains
extra "bad" plugins
: for sources (mythtv), sinks (jack, nas) and effects
(pitch) which are not used
: very much and require additional libraries to be installed.
