RHEL6 gksu build still fails, looking at EPEL they appear to provide beesu as an alternative. Maybe worthwhile to look at it ?

I tried beesu and liked it, which the exception that it only works
to elevate you to root. The option to run as a different user
is missing. In gksu, running as a different user is:

--user <user>, -u <user>
Call <command> as the specified user.

And, since I use "--user" a lot, this missing feature was a deal killer
for beesu.

So, I used the el5 rpm (in el6) and got the finger shaken at me
sorely by members of this group, even thought the el5 rpm works
flawlessly in el6.

Anyway you could use the el5 srpm and fix it up for el6?
